Kenyans Rush to German Embassy for Promised Jobs
The announcement has come at a time when the Diaspora Principal Secretary (PS) Roseline Njogu encouraged Kenyans to migrate to Germany for jobs under the comprehensive migration and mobility Partnership Agreement.
Kenyans who rushed to secure placement for the diaspora jobs are among those affected by the severe power outage at the German embassy.
Speaking on Wednesday, September 18, Njogu said the applications are in three different ways with the main one being through a German-owned website called makeitgermany.com.
“The jobs in Germany can be accessed using these links: 1 https://make-it-in-germany.com/en/ 2. https://deutschland.de/de/arbeiten-in-deutschland,” a statement from the State Department of Diaspora Affairs noted.
Germany and Kenya signed a deal on controlled migration on Friday, September 13, to enable Berlin to open its doors to skilled and semi-skilled Kenyan workers.
