Mwalimu Sacco has announced a revised business-to-customer (B2C) tariff structure for its mobile banking platform, M-HELA, to make digital transactions more affordable for members.
In a notice to its members on January 13, Mwalimu National Sacco said the new tariffs will take effect on January 13, 2026, and are benchmarked against prevailing charges across the financial services industry.
“In our continued journey to offer you affordable, secure, and efficient digital financial services, Mwalimu National DT Sacco is pleased to announce the implementation of a revised B2C tariff structure on our Mobile Banking platform M-HELA, effective 13th January 2026 that is benchmarked across the financial service industry,” read part of the notice.
The revised structure is intended to lower transaction costs, encourage increased usage of digital channels, and strengthen the Sacco’s digital financial ecosystem.
Under the new model, transaction charges have been reduced across most bands, while the maximum transaction limit has been increased from Ksh70,000 to Ksh150,000.
