A video making rounds online of two female Nigerian students making a confession on how they killed a club owner has shocked many netizens.
Originally shared by the Nigeria Police Force, the video shows the two college students narrating the whole encounter during a press briefing while guarded by police officers.
According to the police report, the deceased was the son of Chief Emmanuel Ojo, a prominent figure in Nigeria.
One of the girls narrates how they lured the man to a hotel room and murdered him during a sexual encounter.
Notably, the police officers stated that the suspects were apprehended by operatives from an Intelligence Special Tactical Squad.
The Students Give an Account of the Murder
Recounting what transpired, one of the suspects stated that their initial plan was to lure the businessman into having a sexual encounter with them in his car.
“He had been bothering me for a while and at the time I needed money for some personal things. So, when he called and agreed to meet me and my friend we decided to go,” narrated the suspect.
According to them, they hoped to find some money in the car to make away with. However, the businessman suggested that they check into a hotel room.
“We wanted to take some money from him in the car, but he insisted that we go somewhere else, and we had no other option,’ she added.

Encounter in the Hotel Room
Things took a tragic turn inside the hotel room according to the confession.
With permission from the man, the ladies tied his legs, and hands making sure he was comfortable at every point.
According to the suspects, they convinced the man that tying him up would make the whole experience more enjoyable and he accepted enthusiastically.
Moreover, the two ladies proceeded to cover his mouth using a handkerchief to prevent him from raising an alarm as they stole from him. To their disappointment, the man resisted.
“After my friend tied his hands and legs, I tried to gag his mouth, but he refused, and I stopped. So, when we couldn’t find any money in his pocket, my friend took his phone and showed it to his face to open it with a facial lock,” one of the students narrated.
Death of the Businessman
When the deceased started resisting and becoming aggressive, their only option, as the students stated, was to use a sedative that they had carried with them into the room.
When he could not quite down, the other lady covered his mouth with a pillow which resulted to his death.
“But he started shouting, loosened one of the ropes on his hands, and started hitting my friend. We then put the sedative in his mouth,” the student stated.
“To stop him from making noise, my friend put a pillow over his face, and when he went silent, we told him that we were leaving because we thought he was pretending,” added the suspect.
Nonetheless, the two ladies claimed they were unaware of the death of the businessman when they left the hotel room adding that they believed he was sedated and asleep.
“I never meant to stab him or hurt him; we only wanted to take his money. We didn’t know he died until the police arrested us in Ogun State. My friend and I only took his phone, the knife, and the ropes with us,” she added.

Additionally, she stated that the businessman had been making sexual advances on her for a while, but she turned him down because he was her boss at the time.
“We had finished our program at Kwara Polytechnic before the incident happened. We didn’t plan to kill him. On that particular day, we intended to steal from him,’ she stated.
