Tanzanian singer Diamond Platinumz has revealed the date he is set to tie the knot with fellow Tanzanian artist Zuchu.
He stated that he would marry her in February 2025 before Ramadhan. He confirmed this on January 19, 2025, at a political rally in Dodoma, Tanzania.
Zuchu quoted him, stating that he had confirmed that the wedding would take place while responding to a journalist who asked her about the date of the wedding. Diamond nodded in agreement.
“Amesema mwezi ujao, kabla ya Ramadhani. (He has said it will take place next month before Ramadhan),” stated Zuchu.

This comes days after Platinumz denied being in a relationship with Zuchu stating that she is just his artiste.
He further stated that he is single at the Netflix reality show, Young Famous and African, something that has left fans with questions about his relationship with Zuchu.

“She is my artiste. You mean Zuchu, right? She’s my artiste,” stated the ‘Number One’ hitmaker.
Diamond revealed that he is single and that he could be seeing several women at the same time.
“I do not have a girlfriend anywhere. I can have three girls and treat them the same. That is why it is difficult to call it a relationship. I would call it having fun,” stated Zuchu.
Zuchu calls out Diamond’s media company
He went on to state that he avoids being honest with women as this will prevent them from liking him more. Instead, he believes that women should be told sweet words as opposed to the truth.
“Sometimes, ladies, you need to give them sweet words. You can’t tell them the truth. If you tell them the truth, you will never make them like you more,” said the artist.

The news came as Zuchu recently called out Diamond’s radio staff for bullying her by constantly discussing her not getting married to Diamond. She stated that she would take legal action against the media company.
Zuchu announced that she had parted ways with the Bongo star in November 2024, stating that they had amicably decided to end their relationship. The two, however, got back together soon after.
