- Identify Cluster Subjects
Determine the four subjects required for your intended course. For example, Medicine requires Biology, Chemistry, Maths or Physics, and English or Kiswahili. - Convert Grades to Points
Use the KUCCPS grading scale to convert your KCSE grades into points: A=12, A-=11, B+=10, B=9, B-=8, C+=7, C=6, C-=5, D+=4, D=3, D-=2, E=1. - Sum Cluster Subject Points
Add the points from the selected subjects to get your total cluster points r. This total will determine your eligibility for placement in your preferred university course - Use Overall Aggregate
Determine your overall KCSE aggregate points t. - Apply Formula
Insert r, R, t, and T into the weighted cluster points formula to compute C. The official calculation is available on the KUCCPS portal.
