Every category lists Biology as a core subject, though the minimum grade varies by course. This makes Biology the essential qualifying subject for pursuing any medical or health-related degree under KUCCPS.
For the additional or alternative subjects across the medical-related course categories, KUCCPS generally offers the following options alongside Biology and Chemistry:
- Mathematics or Alternative A
- Physics (in some courses)
- Agriculture (for Veterinary Medicine & Biostatistics)
- English or Kiswahili
