Admission Process
As a C1 school, the admission process in the Utumishi Girls Academy follows the Ministry of Education’s centralized placement service.
According to the Ministry placement service, grade 10 students’ placement is based on the Kenya Junior Secondary Education Assessment (KJSEA) score.
Students select schools through the MOE portal during the open placement window and await placement.
In instances of transfer students, which are limited, Utumishi School, as well as the County Education Office, handles the transfers.
However, under some circumstances, students whose parents serve at the NPS have coordinated applications through the police county commands.
