The Ukrainian Air Force has reported that Russia launched a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine involving hundreds of drones and three ballistic missiles, targeting infrastructure, leaving several civilians injured.
According to Ukraine’s air force, a total of 324 drones were deployed between 6 pm local time on April 14 and the following morning, alongside three ballistic missiles.
Air defense units intercepted or neutralized 309 of the drones, though the missiles and 13 drones still struck at nine separate locations.
Regional Governor Ihor Taburets said the attacks caused casualties in multiple regions.

In the south-eastern city of Dnipro, several people were injured after a drone strike, with emergency responders treating victims both at hospitals and on site.
He also confirmed that several high-rise buildings were damaged, with blast waves and debris affecting residential areas.
“In total, we have four locations where UAVs fell. This concerns residential infrastructure: dozens of damaged private houses and cars. We will know the exact number after a thorough examination,” Governor Ihor reported.
Emergency teams, along with humanitarian partners, were deployed to assist with rescue and recovery efforts.
In a separate strike on the city of Cherkasy, the Governor reported that at least one child was killed and several others injured after falling drone debris hit residential apartment blocks.
