The National Employment Authority (NEA) has warned jobseekers against applying for jobs through a private recruitment agency, M-Ajira, stating that it is not registered to offer recruitment services.
In a notice on May 15, NEA said the agency has not complied with the requirements of the Labour Institutions Act, 2007, which governs the registration and operation of recruitment and placement firms for both local and overseas employment.
“The National Employment Authority wishes to caution jobseekers and members of the public against engaging with a private recruitment agency operating under the name M-Ajira,” read part of the statement.
