The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA), Office of the Directorate of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) and Konza Technopolis Development Authority (KoTDA) are some of the latest government agencies to announce job opportunities.
In a notice on Tuesday, June 25, KeNHA announced 92 career opportunities, the qualifications and mode of application.
The Authority explained that the recruitment will help it achieve its mandate to manage, develop, rehabilitate and maintain national trunk roads.
“To carry out this mandate effectively, the Authority wishes to fill the following vacant positions with creative and proactive Kenyan citizens with the ability to quickly adapt to a dynamic work environment,” the notice read in parts.
KeNHA seeks to employ 55 Engineer (Roads), 14 Inspector (Roads), three Assistant Office Administrator and another three Driver.
The Authority also advertised two openings for the following positions: Physical Planner, Legal Officer, Records Management Officer and Paralegal Clerk.
Besides, KeNHA announced one opportunity for the positions of: Assistant Director, Legal Services (Readvertisement), Assistant Director, Social Safeguards and Assistant Director, Corporate Communications.
The other positions include Enterprise Risk Management Officer, Assistant Supply Chain Management Officer, Draughtsman, Assistant Geographic Information System Officer, Assistant Land Surveyor and Assistant Accountant.
KeNHA directed interested applicants to visit www.kenha.co.ke for a detailed Job Profile and Specification, and general information.
“All candidates who meet the requirements detailed in the Job Specifications should apply online using the provided link accessible via the KeNHA Website by close of business on Monday, 15th July 2024 at 5:00 pm,” read the notice.

Qualifications & Requirements
KeNHA encouraged people with disability, women and those from marginalized areas to apply.
Applicants with disability have been requested to indicate their status on the application link for ease of identification.
“Applications without the relevant qualifications will not be considered. Any form of canvassing shall lead to automatic disqualification,” the Authority said.
Prospective candidates must satisfy the requirements of Leadership and Integrity set out in Chapter six (6) of the Constitution.
Candidates will be required to present KRA Tax Compliance Certificate, HELB Clearance Certificate or proof of ongoing repayments, EACC Clearance Certificate, Certificate of Good Conduct issued by National Police Service and Certificate of Clearance from the CRB during interview.
“The terms of appointment for the above positions shall be on Permanent & Pensionable Terms of Service. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted,” KeNHA said.
ODPP Job Opportunities
The ODPP has also announced sixteen job opportunities to facilitate the operations of the office.
This includes two vacancies for the positions of Accountant I and Driver.
Besides, the ODPP invites applications for the positions of Information Communication Technology Officer II, Senior Assistant Director Supply Chain Management, Chief Internal Auditor, Chief Finance Officer, Senior Assistant Director, Public Communication and Assistant Director Supply Chain Management.
“Interested and qualified persons are requested to make their applications online (no hard copy applications will be accepted) through the provided link on the ODPP website www.odpp.go.ke careers page or https://jobs.prosecutions. go.ke/Applications should reach the Office on or before 15th July 2024 latest 5.00 pm (East African Time),” ODPP said.
The Office also announced one opportunity for seven other posts including: Assistant Director, Human Resource Development, Senior Principal Human Resource Development Officer, Senior Principal Librarian, Senior Principal Information Communication Technology Officer, Senior Internal Auditor and Senior Supply Chain Management Officer I.
The Office urged persons with disability and those from marginalized and minority communities to apply.
“Shortlisted candidates shall be required to produce originals of their National Identification Card, academic and profession- al certificates & transcripts during the interviews,” ODPP added.

Konza Technopolis Development Authority
KOTDA is seeking a competent, capable, ambitious, self-motivated and experienced individuals to contribute to the development of the Konza Technopolis.
In a notice on June 25, KOTDA invited qualified interested individuals to apply for the positions of Principal Internal Auditor, Network Engineer and Innovation Officer.
Interested candidates can access the role profiles, qualifications and experience requirements detailed through https://konza.go.ke/career-opportunities/.
The applications should be received before or on July 16th, 2024.
