National Carrier Kenya Airways (KQ) has announced job opportunities. KQ, in an update on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, invited eligible applicants to apply for various roles.
This comes after the airline launched its career portal. “We have officially launched our new career portal, making it easier than ever to apply for open positions,” said Kenya Airways.

Kenya Airways August 2025 vacancies and their main roles
Airport Officer – Dubai & Sharjah (UAE)
Successful applicants will oversee the day-to-day operations in consultation with the Station Manager whilst ensuring implementation of the station management system by delegation of authority and as the responsible officer at the station.
The role also includes ensuring that standards of punctuality and customer service are delivered in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, and in compliance with the regulatory authorities.
Controller GSE Maintenance
Responsible for ensuring the effective deployment of GSE workshop capabilities for the cost-effective provision of both ad-hoc and planned maintenance services at station-based ground handling.
GSE Maintenance Technician (RF‑0047)
Responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing Ground Handling Support Equipment for service delivery in a safe and cost-effective manner.
Manager Marketing East Central & South Africa
This job is responsible for developing and implementing demand and lead generation strategies in the assigned territory.
Manager Corporate Brand & Partnerships
This job exists to safeguard and maintain Kenya Airways’ brand integrity, drive customer preference and loyalty to foster brand love, analyze markets, and propose strategies. It implements these strategies through market research, product development, and advertising, while also involving KQ in sustainable community development within the KQ network.
Customer Service Agent – Nairobi & Mombasa
Successful applicants will provide safe, secure, efficient, and customer-focused passenger services in compliance with regulatory requirements, the Company’s policies, and the Customer airlines’ procedures.
Travel Advisor – Nairobi & Johannesburg
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the ideal candidate will be tasked with promoting and selling KQ products and value-added services (ancillary) at both the B2C & B2B levels, providing personalized travel-related services to internal and external customers, and must demonstrate ownership and execution of the Sales process.

Sales Executive – Kinshasa
Reporting to the Country Manager, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), the ideal candidate will support the achievement of country/region commercial targets (passenger & cargo) through the assigned trade/corporate portfolio while ensuring customer satisfaction through continuous customer engagement.
HR Associate – Talent, People-Ops & Learning (TPAL)
According to Kenya Airways, the TPAL Associate is the operational engine of the HR pod. The role coordinates volume recruitment, onboarding, people-operations transactions, learning-uptake activities and data capture, thereby enabling the HRBP to focus on strategic partnering while line managers receive responsive, high-quality service.

Maintenance Technician – Production (Technical Workshop Paint Technician)
Prepares and applies protective and decorative coatings on aircraft components to the required technical and quality standards. As assigned, maintain Kenya Airways aircraft livery, paint components, and equipment to meet Kenya Airways, the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA), and other applicable regulatory requirements whilst enhancing market appeal.

Technical Assistant – Component Maintenance
Provides technical and logistical support in the maintenance, inspection, and preparation of aircraft components within the component workshop, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Maintenance Machinist – Production Technical Workshop
Performs precision machining, fabrication, and repair of aircraft components in accordance with aviation standards and engineering specifications, supporting aircraft safety, airworthiness, and operational readiness
Aviation Plating Shop Technician
Carries out electroplating and surface treatment processes on aircraft components in accordance with approved maintenance procedures and aviation industry standards, ensuring airworthiness, corrosion protection, and dimensional restoration.
Maintenance Technician – Production (Avionics/Mechanical workshop)
Purpose will be to carry out all: Pre inspection, disassembly cleaning, inspection, repair, modification, rectification, replacement, overhaul and testing tasks on Aircraft components for all KQ fleet third party operators and perform certification within his/ her dual scope of approval in accordance with KCAA company regulations at an optimized cost for the business whilst upholding high maintenance standards to maintain schedule integrity.
Maintenance Technician – Production (Plant and Equipment Workshop)
Purpose includes carrying out all inspection, repair, modification, rectification, replacement, overhaul, and testing tasks on all aircraft support equipment specific to the entire KQ and third-party aircraft fleet, and all service bulletins on equipment, machinery, and tooling in accordance with OEM specifications.
Aviation Calibration Technician
This role includes the performance of accurate calibration, verification, and documentation of aircraft maintenance tools, test equipment, and measuring instruments in accordance with approved procedures, industry standards, and aviation regulatory requirements.
The technician also ensures that all calibrated items meet traceability and precision standards to support safe and compliant aircraft maintenance.
