Arsenal said that the jersey which features the traditional pan-African colors of black, green and red was designed by Labrum London founder Foday Dumbuya.
Red and green colors feature prominently across the collar and stripes which run down the shoulders – as well as in the famous cannon crest.
These colors and cultural cues bind together to create a mural of the club’s past and present connection to the African diaspora in London and beyond – championing the rich cultural heritage within the team and across its supporter base.
