Benard Kitur is currently serving his first term as a Member of the National Assembly for Nandi Hills Constituency, having been elected in August 2022 under the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party.

Bernard completed his primary education at Cheplelaibei Primary School between 1988 and 1996.
This was followed by his secondary schooling at Moi High School, Kabarak, from 1997 to 2000.
He then pursued accounting qualifications, earning CPA-K certification through KASNEB between 2001 and 2003.
Benard Kitur subsequently completed a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) at the University of Nairobi from 2002 to 2007.
Continuing his education at Mount Kenya University, he acquired an ICT Diploma in Software Development and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Public Administration and Governance from 2020 to date.
Career life
Benard Kitur began his professional journey in finance, serving as a Clerk/Teller at Barclays Bank of Kenya from 2002 to 2007.
He then worked as a Relationship Officer at National Industrial Credit Bank (NIC) from 2008 to 2009, and as Corporate Manager at Chase Bank from 2009 to 2010.

Later, he entered the entrepreneurial sector as CEO of Valley International Funds Transfer from 2010 to 2014, before founding and leading Crown Ebb Technology Limited from 2014 to the present, and simultaneously managing Raha Knit Factory since 2020.
He is a member of ICPAK (Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya) with skills in accountancy, audit, budgeting, and software development, and interests in finance, trade, and ICT.
In terms of public service, Kitur was elected Member of Parliament for Nandi Hills Constituency in August 2022, representing the UDA party.
