David Kiplagat is the Member of Parliament for Soy Constituency in Uasin Gishu County, Kenya.
He was elected in 2022 under the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party and is known as an experienced technocrat with a strong background in ICT.
Before entering Parliament, he served as the Speaker of the County Assembly of Uasin Gishu from 2017 to 2022 and was recognised as the 7th best speaker nationally.

He then transitioned into leadership at the county level, serving as Speaker of the Uasin Gishu County Assembly between 2017 and 2022, and was recognised as the 7th Best Speaker nationally.
In August 2022, Kiplagat was elected Member of Parliament for Soy Constituency, running on a UDA ticket.
