Educational Background
Josphat Kiptanui holds a bachelor’s degree in software engineering from Kirinyaga University, where he studied from August 2019 to October 2023 and graduated with a Second-Class Upper Division.
During his time at the university, he gained solid skills in software development, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, deep learning, and convolutional neural networks.
In addition to his degree, Josphat is pursuing an Undergraduate Certificate in Data Science at the University of the People, a program he began in February 2022 and is expected to complete in April 2025.

Kiptanui is the Chief Executive Officer of GalaxyXpert Softlabs LTD, a position he has held since August 2024.
Between August 2024 and May 2025, he led the company’s strategic operations, product development, and team coordination, positioning GalaxyXpert Softlabs as a rising tech player in the region.
His expertise in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling equips him to transform complex data into meaningful insights that support informed decision-making.
