Between 2013 and 2017, he held the position of Director and Head of Technical Committee at the Kenya Pipeline Company Limited.
In 2017, he transitioned into elective politics and was first elected Member of Parliament for Kuria East Constituency.
He retained the seat in the 2022 General Election on a UDA ticket and continues to serve in the National Assembly.
