Mohamed Aden Daudi is a Kenyan politician and the Member of Parliament for Wajir East constituency under the Jubilee Party (JP).
Early life and educational background
Mohamed Aden Daudi earned a Bachelor of Education in Economics from Kenyatta University in 1988, demonstrating an early aptitude for fiscal matters and training.
His legal ambitions led him abroad, where he completed a Master of Arts in International Development Studies at St. Mary’s University in Canada in 1999.
He then enrolled at the William Mitchell School of Law in 2003, where he obtained a Juris Doctor (JD) degree. He subsequently completed a Post-Graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law in 2006–2007.

Professional career
Between 2005 and 2007, he honed his advocacy skills as a defender with the Minnesota State Public Defender’s Office in the United States.
He returned to Kenya and served as a partner at Ahmednasir Abdikadir & Company Advocates from 2008 to 2010.
From 2011 to 2022, he led Michael, Daud & Associates Advocates as a partner, solidifying his profile as a reputational legal practitioner.

Beyond the courtroom, Daudi demonstrated his leadership in public institutions, serving as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) from 2009 to 2015.

In recognition of his service, he was awarded the rank of Elder of the Burning Spear, one of Kenya’s top civilian honors.
