Bady Twalib, popularly known as ‘Bady’, is the current Member of Parliament for Jomvu Constituency in Mombasa County.
Twalib has served in Parliament since 2013, with successive re-elections in 2017 and 2022 on an Orange Democratic Movement ticket.

Bady Twalib began his education at Jomvu Primary School, where he sat for the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) in 1981.
He later attended Khamisi High School where he sat his Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) in 1990.
To enhance his skills in public management, he pursued further studies in 2010 and 2012, earning a Certificate in County Management from KCA University and another certificate from the International Republican Institute.

Before venturing into politics, Twalib worked in the logistics sector.
From 1998 to 2005, he was employed by Conken Freight, later becoming the Managing Director of Tazib General Agencies in 2006.
His career in the public service began at the local government level, where he served as a councilor and chaired the Water Committee in the former Mombasa Municipal Council between 2008 and 2013.
In 2013, he transitioned into national politics and was elected Member of Parliament for Jomvu.
In Parliament, he has served on several committees, including Regional Integration and the Joint Parliamentary Broadcasting and Library Committee.
Twalib has been commended for the efficient and transparent use of NG-CDF funds in his constituency, prioritising road improvement, water access, education support, health centres, and youth empowerment programmes.
