Benjamin Gathiru, famously known as Mejja Donk, is a Kenyan politician and a Member of Parliament representing Embakasi Central Constituency.
He is known for being re-elected as a Member of Parliament in the 2022 general elections. After serving in the previous term under the UDA Party.

Benjamin has earlier on worked as a proprietor at Menja Furnisher and later moved to Prime Trans city Sacco as the director of the Sacco.
Thereafter, Gathiru was elected as a member of the National Assembly, where he served from 2017 to 2022 and was later re-elected.
In the 2022 general elections, IEBC declared Benjamin Gathiru alias Mejjadonk as the MP-elect for Embakasi Central.
He garnered 48,277 votes against his opponent, Samuel Ng’ang’a Mwangi from the Jubilee Party, who got 29,375 votes.
As a Member of Parliament, Mejja donk is responsible for various duties assigned to his title, including debating and passing laws, and approving the national budget.
