Work Experience
Betty has worked as the Commission Secretary and Chief Executive Officer at the National Gender and Equality Commission from 2019 to 2024.
Additionally, she worked as the Deputy Commission Secretary of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission from 2012 to 2017.
From 2006 to 2009, she served as the Chief Executive Officer and Secretary of the Law Society of Kenya.
She has experience with the legal profession at the bar, the bench and in the public sector, and at local, regional, and international levels, including the East African Court of Justice (EACJ) and the EAC.
She has sat in the legal counsel of FIDA-Kenya from 2003 to 2006.
