Stanley Muthama Muiruri is a Kenyan politician currently serving as the Member of Parliament for Lamu West Constituency in Lamu County.
He has been in parliament since August 2017 and is a member of the Maendeleo Chap Chap Party.
He was recognised as the Best Performing MP in Lamu County following research by Mizani Afrika in 2022.

Stanley Muthama began his education at Lake Kenyatta Primary School, where he earned his Kenya Certificate of Primary Education.
He then attended Mpeketoni Secondary School, where he completed his Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education from 1990 to 1993.
Advancing his professional qualifications, he studied at the Technical University of Kenya and graduated with a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering Technology between 2018 and 2022.
Currently, he is pursuing a Master of Science in Construction Engineering and Management at the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, having commenced studies in 2022.
Career Path
Muthama began his engineering career as a Deputy Site Engineer at Terracraft Limited from 2000 to 2002, before moving on to serve as a Subcontractor for Mugoya Construction Limited between 2002 and 2004.

He then rose to leadership roles as Managing Director of Rawford International Limited from 2005 to 2007, and later at Stansha Limited from 2007 to 2017.
In 2017, he entered national politics and was elected Member of Parliament for Lamu West Constituency, a position he has held through the 12th Parliament and continues to hold in the 13th.
During his first term (2017–2022), he served on the Departmental Committee on Finance and National Planning. In his current term, Muthama is a member of the Departmental Committee on Blue Economy and Irrigation.
