Nigerian superstar Davido has stirred mixed reactions and made headlines after deleting most of his posts on Instagram, leaving only three behind. Visitors to his account on Wednesday found that the popular singer had removed his profile picture and other content from the platform.
The only posts remaining on his account, which has 26.4 million followers, are a tribute to his late son Ifeanyi, photographs from his performance at the Qatar World Cup, and an image of him and his partner Chioma Rowland getting ready for the World Cup show in December 2022.

Davido had withdrawn from social media following the tragic death of his three-year-old son in October 2022, and he had hinted that he would return in March 2023. Since then, the only public appearance the DMW boss has made was at the 2022 FIFA World Cup closing ceremony in Qatar, where he sang the tournament’s official anthem, “Hayya Hayya (Better Together),” alongside Trinidad Cardona and Aisha.
Davido’s social media purge has sparked curiosity among fans, who now wonder why he removed most of his content. Some speculate that it could be a sign of a fresh start or a new phase in his career, while others believe it could be a move to focus on his personal life. Despite the speculation, Davido has yet to comment on the matter, leaving fans to wait for any official announcement or update
