He also stated that he prefers getting original products as he looks forward to working with brands.
“I feel like as a content creator, I should not be setting up my brand based on counterfeit products so that I am able to attract the legit brands,” stated the creator.
This comes at a time when Shiquo is facing backlash online for poor customer service from her customers.
Shiquo bashed for poor customer service
Towards the end of 2024, Shiquo had caused a frenzy on TikTok for selling imports from China at relatively low prices.
Her business did not sit well with many businesspeople as she pushed so many people out of business with her cheap products, particularly those from Kamukunji.

The fame, however, did not last long as people began complaining online of having their products delayed by the vendor. Some also decried poor customer service stating that they got different products from what they ordered.
Shiquo came out and acknowledged the inconveniences, stating that the business grew to a scale that he had not anticipated and prepared for. She apologized and stated that she would do better in the future.
“But we must admit that we have failed. We know we have caused pain and disappointment and we take full responsibility. Your voices matter and they will guide us in the next step,” stated Shiquo.
