Airtel Kenya has launched a new monthly bundle offer named Smarta Bundles.
Announcing the launch in Nairobi on February 13, Airtel Kenya Managing Director Ashish Malhotra expressed his excitement terming it another industry-first innovation.
“We have been on a journey of continuous network expansion across the country. With our enhanced and upgraded network infrastructure, we are excited to announce the launch of yet another industry-first, innovative offer- ‘Smarta Bundles’,” stated Malhotra.
Malhotra stated that the launch reflects Airtel’s ongoing efforts to offer seamless solutions that cater to customers’ diverse communication needs.
He added that Smarta Bundles are designed to provide exceptional value and convenience, ensuring users stay connected throughout the month while also enhancing their digital and financial experiences.
Airtel Launches Smarta Bundles
At the launch event, the Airtel CEO also emphasized that Smarta Bundles not only cater to connectivity and communication needs but also address customers’ financial requirements throughout the month.
“The bundle offers both financial and digital freedom, reinforcing Airtel’s mission of being a purpose-driven, innovative, and customer-focused brand,” he added.
The Smarta Bundle packages include substantial amounts of resources for SMS, data, and voice calling minutes to any network.

For the first time, they also feature enhanced Airtel Money benefits. Subscribers to the Smarta Bundles will enjoy a 100% reimbursement of transaction fees as airtime for transactions from their bank to their Airtel Money wallet.
Additionally, customers will receive a full refund of transaction costs as airtime for cash withdrawals at any Airtel Money agent and for payments to paybills across the country. Other benefits include free money transfers between Airtel subscribers and zero-cost payments to ‘Buy goods’ tills nationwide.
The Smarta Bundles are available at two price points
Another innovative feature of the Smarta Bundles is the daily allocation of data, with any unused resources rolling over to the following day and compounding until the bundle’s validity period expires. This ensures that customers remain digitally connected throughout the month.
The Smarta Bundles come in two price points, Ksh1,000 and Ksh 1,500.
How to subscribe
Customers can subscribe to the Smarta Bundles by dialing *544# or *334# on their Airtel lines, or through the My Airtel App.
The 100% reimbursement of transaction fees as airtime for transactions from bank to Airtel Money wallet is a promotional offer and is available for a limited time.
