How has the Nandi Tailor Changed his Business
Because of the big boost, the tailor was able to purchase new equipment and increase production capacity.
He started his tailoring business in 2014 with a single sewing machine and just one employee. At the time, he relied on individual orders and struggled to keep the business afloat.
However, with the new tenders, he has now expanded his operations to three machines and a team of five employees.
“He has steadily grown his business, now employing 5 staff and 3 operating machines. Despite his success, the entrepreneur faces challenges with limited workspace and financial constraints,” added MSEA.
MSEA has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting John and other small businesses in the region.
Further, the authority has pledged to provide additional training, capacity-building programs, and further business connections to ensure sustainable growth.
