Jackson Tito, a 14-year-old boy whose story previously sparked public sympathy after he was seen struggling to care for his four younger siblings, has received educational support following an outpouring of assistance from well-wishers.
In a social media video, Jackson was heard speaking on the phone with a well-wisher who awarded him a scholarship to attend Visa Oshwal School, giving him a chance to continue his education despite difficult family circumstances.
His four siblings have also been admitted to school through the support of well-wishers who came together to assist the family.
The collective effort ensured that all the children would now continue with their education, easing the heavy responsibility Tito had been carrying.
In an emotional phone call after receiving the news, Tito expressed his appreciation for the support he received.
“Thank you so much for this offer,” he said.

This comes after a heartbreaking video showed young Jackson Tito preparing food over an open fire for his siblings in Kitui, with one child watching his every caring move attentively despite their difficult life.
According to Tito, this cycle of abandonment left him to shoulder the responsibility of raising his younger siblings on his own under extremely difficult circumstances without any support from their mother.
However, Jackson Tito’s remarkable resilience and sacrifice in caring for his siblings have captured national attention as the heartbreaking story spreads rapidly across social media platforms throughout Kenya, evoking widespread sympathy.

Despite the immense challenges, young Jackson Tito remained s fully committed to providing love, care, and basic needs for his younger siblings in their humble Kitui home every single day tirelessly.

He also argued that he didn’t want any repayment in the future, but if they acknowledged his care for them, it would be okay.
“I’m doing this because they are my siblings and I’m the firstborn. I don’t expect any payment in the future from them, but if they remember and return the favor, it’s still fine,” said Tito in an interview.
Tito further stated that he would want to ask their mother to stop giving birth to other children and take them back to him, as it was overwhelming him and making it hard to manage the situation.
