Popular Kikuyu musician Karangu Muraya was elated after one of his diehard fans gifted him on Friday November 24.
In the pencil drawn portrait, the drawing artist attempted to get a duplicate copy of the popular gospel musician.
However, that was not achieved as what was evident in the portrait was only the same colors of the shirt and turban.
Accompanying the images with four laughing emojis, with the musician laughing it off, noting that he was short of words to describe the piece of art.
However, his followers had more than enough to comment on the gift.
Whereas some praised the piece of art, some made fun of it.
Perfect Work
Dj Qariz, a TV Presenter hilariously noted that the artist was perfect in his work.
“Karangu Muraya, this one knows how to do pencil art, he scored 100%,” he noted.

On her part, Esther Wa Macharia was amused by the piece of art.
“Wooow amazing and good work,” she noted.
Andrew Kym and Mirriam Nyambura were among other Facebook users who noted that the piece of art was a good trial.
Ndugu Nyoro, a Facebook user, stated that the turban part was perfectly done but the artist needed to up his game.
“He scored highly on the Kiremba (Turban) part. He should perfect the rest of the parts. He may try better,” he noted.
Lucy Kibira, on the other hand noted that the turban and shirt were well done, however she insisted that he still had a long to go.
Appeal to Promote the Talent
However, Julius Kyalo on his part had different had a different opinion about the artist.
He noted that it was out of love that the artist took his time to draw the musician to express his love for him.

“The artist loves you and values you. I guess that is why he spent his time to draw your image, to express his/her feelings about you,” he wrote.
On the other hand, a section of the users appealed to the musician to promote the talent of the artist.
“Promote this man/woman great job of drawing,” Jane Wanjiku noted.
“It is okay since it only the beginning of his career, Karangu Muraya just support him,” Liz Wainish added.
Notably, Karangu Muraya is a popular Gospel artist who is known for his philanthropic work as he occasionally chips in to help needy people.
The musician has used his influence and popularity in the Mount Kenya region to impact the lives of people in many ways such as building houses for needy families and sponsoring students through education.
