The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has warned the public against fraudsters pretending to be the Commission’s employees.
In a statement on January 24, JSC chaired by Chief Justice Martha Koome said the conmen demand money from Kenyans in exchange of jobs announced by the Commission.
“The public is duly notified to beware of unscrupulous individuals posing as JSC employees with the intention to defraud unsuspecting Kenyans by calling or sending text messages and asking for payment to get offers for jobs advertised by the Commission,” read the statement.
The Commission also said it makes formal communication through its official email address jscsecretariat@jsc.go.ke and the official telephone number +254202739180.
JSC also communicates through its official website www.jsc.go.ke and the Commission’s bulk message sender JSCKE.
“JSC appeals to the public to regularly visit our official website www.jsc.go.ke to get updates on genuine job adverts, to avoid falling victim to scammers,” added the statement.
