- Healthcare: He says healthcare services have improved through the implementation of the Social Health Authority (SHA).
- Agriculture: Mbadi notes that the agricultural sector has shown signs of recovery, attributing the improvement to the subsidized fertilizer program aimed at boosting food production.
- Youth Empowerment: He says youth empowerment initiatives have been strengthened across the country through the NYOTA program, which seeks to expand economic opportunities for young people.
- Roads have been constructed across the country, and the government has enhanced regional power transmissions.

CS Mbadi has said he is presenting the 2026/27 Budget at a time when the world continues to experience economic shocks, adding that the spending plan has been aligned with the government’s Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda to support businesses and drive economic growth.
Mbadi has said feedback from Kenyans during the budget-making process showed that many want the government to reduce the cost of living by lowering taxes on essential commodities, curb the wastage of public resources, and deal decisively with corruption.
