The Law Society of Kenya (LSK) President, Faith Odhiambo, has responded to the reported abduction of popular online government critic Goddie_Ke.
The LSK President has asked the family of Goddie to come forward with full details to facilitate intervention.
According to preliminary reports, the activist has been missing for the past 10 days, with X users indicating that he is being held in Meru under unclear circumstances.
“The family can directly reach out so we can get full facts,” stated LSK president Faith Odhiambo.

Uproar From Kenyans Calling on LSK
Further, his supporters who have launched the hashtag #freeGoddie, noted that they tried reaching out to him with no success.
Also, online reports have indicated that the popular X user was arrested for a post that implicated a popular brand.
“Meru Central Co-operative’s Mount Kenya milk on sale contains dangerous toxins,” the post in question read.
X user, I am Chege, and other users have called for accountability from the CEO of the milk company, demanding that Goddie be produced before a court of law.
“Mr Kenneth Gitonga is the CEO Mt Kenya Milk. We need to know why Goddie_Ke has not been presented in court. You cannot hold someone incommunicado for 3 days,” he stated.
“What Goddie posted about Mount Kenya milk was irresponsible and malicious, but I do not know why management rushed to have him arrested instead of taking him to court for libel,” Karani Mutonga added.

Who is Goddie_Ke
On his X page, Goddie describes himself as a digital media strategist and news enthusiast. Also, he stated that his mission is to voice silent screams.
Moreover, he has 741.9K followers on X and is following 5,024 accounts that he engages with.
Goddie_Ke has been posting on his platform every single day until Friday, March 21, when he disappeared from the online platform.
