Emmanuel Koskei, a man who lost his wife in a road accident as they rushed to respond to a distress call linked to the Utumishi Academy fire, has mourned her in an emotional tribute.
Speaking at the memorial service for his late wife, Faith, on June 13, Koskei described her as the anchor of both his family and personal life, saying her presence shaped who he is and sustained their household for more than two decades. He noted that their relationship, spanning over 20 years, was built on partnership, sacrifice and resilience.
“My wife Faith, I release you. I have accepted to release you. I will take care of our children,” he said.
Koskei explained that his wife played a central role in raising their family and made a conscious decision to personally care for their children from the time they were born, without relying on outside help.
He said her commitment to family life defined their home and enabled him to focus on his responsibilities, including going to work each day.
