Renowned lawyer Miguna Miguna has found himself embroiled in a heated dispute with Kapseret Member of Parliament (MP) Oscar Sudi.
The conflict was sparked by a video posted on X by Oscar Sudi, in which the MP accused Miguna of inciting the youth.
Sudi expressed his disapproval of Miguna’s actions terming them as “uncouth’ and unfit in the country’s modern era.
“It’s a sheer contradiction that Miguna Miguna, is passionately inciting our children to unleash mayhem, this is uncouth in our modern Kenya,” he said.
He faulted Miguna for his remarks during a recently held X Space discussion, expressing shock that someone like Miguna would incite young people instead of offering wise council as a parental figure would.
“I was shocked to hear such a grown man like you, aged over 70 years inciting the Gen Zs… you come to an X space and spew words that cause confusion.”
Sudi Blames Miguna for Hijacking the Gen Z Movement
Sudi acknowledged that the Gen Z-led movement started very well and that he even supported it himself, as it was proof that the youth were waking up to the country’s political issues.
He however, blamed Miguna along with renowned activist, Boniface Mwangi for hijacking the movement.
“I agree with you on one point that the Gen Z movement started very well, I even supported it myself because it was proof that the youth had started waking up,”
“However, Boniface Mwangi and Miguna Miguna hijacked the movement and so I ask do you want our nation to burn or what?” posed Sudi.

Sudi concluded his video by making an appeal to the youth urging them to be patient with the government as it seeks to address the challenges facing the country.
He called upon Miguna and others like him to put the nation first emphasizing the need for peaceful resolution of national issues.
“I want to tell you Miguna and your crooks, Boniface Mwangi and others, let’s put our country first because it’s not about Sudi, William Ruto or anybody else,” remarked Sudi.
“Let us rectify our issues in a manner that will not lead to the destruction of the country.”

In response, Miguna fired back at Sudi labeling him an “illiterate” and asserting that he and others would hold him accountable for his actions.
