The Traffic Police Department has announced traffic disruptions, including road closures and diversions, ahead of the CHAN Games scheduled on Sunday, 3 August 2025.
According to the police, on match days, they will divert traffic around Nyayo National Stadium and Kasarani Stadium. This will help the organizers of CHAN 2024 set up fan barriers around the stadiums.
Motorists using the following routes will be affected: Aerodrome Road from Madaraka Roundabout to Bunyala Roundabout — this is the road that branches left towards Athletics Kenya. That road will be closed.
