Popular travel vlogger Fredrick Marwa, commonly known as I am Marwa has pleaded for help after his girlfriend, who is a foreigner was robbed in Upper hill, Nairobi.
Marwa shared a recording of the incident on his social media platforms detailing that the unexpected incident occurred while they were on a walk together in Upper hill, Nairobi at around 9:30 am.
Further, he explained that while on the walk, a boda-boda rider followed them quietly for a while and in about two seconds, snatched his girlfriend’s bag and sped off.
Additionally, he said that the incident occurred next to a police station, pleading with his fans to help him identify the thief.
“This just happened to us!!! Kindly share it widely to help us. Hope someone helps us identify this thief. We had just arrived in this city of Nairobi from our village, so we felt it was nice to walk around the city for sightseeing.
“Little did we know the person on this motorbike was following us to commit this crime. We were shaken, the incident happened in the area called Upper Hill, Nairobi, right opposite a police station,” he said.

Items Inside Bag
Further explaining what transpired, Iam Marwa said that the bag contained vlogging equipment and personal documentations.
They included a GO Pro 10 camera, and an I Phone 11 Pro, I pods, a national ID, Cash, Wallet and Bank Cards
According to the vlogger, the tracking device on the phone located the thief at Mathare.
“Rocio was carrying Her National ID, GO Pro 10, Mobile Phone; I Phone 11 Pro, Cash, I Pods, Wallet and Bank Cards. The phone location shows it is in an area called Mathere.
“We are asking for help if anyone knows this person. We will be in the city for the Next 48 hours and leave after,” he added.

He documents and shares his experiences travelling in different countries on his Yutube channel. As per his videos, the content creator has visited Cuba, Colombia, Ethiopia, Mexico among other countries.
