A video recording has exposed a motorist who was captured attacking a matatu driver, other motorists and passengers with a knife along the Nakuru- Molo Road.
According to witnesses, the violent incident occurred when an unidentified motorist attempted to overtake a matatu ferrying passengers from Molo to Nakuru.
When the matatu stopped at Njoro area to allow passengers to alight, the vehicle blocked another motorist who wanted to overtake.
Subsequently, the matatu made another stop shortly after which angered the motorists who was following closely behind.
Angered, the motorists who was driving a private vehicle parked his car in front of the matatu and went to confront the matatu driver.

Details of the Knife Attack on the Road
A passenger in the matatu detailed that he hit the matatu driver with one big blow, demanding an explanation on why he could not let him overtake.
Further, the angered matatu driver alighted to confront the motorist and the matter escalated very quickly.
Fearing for their safety, the passengers alighted in a rush, some sustaining injuries as they quickly jumped out of the vehicle.
However, other passengers decided to help their driver and conductor who were still engaging in the fierce confrontation.
Agitated, the motorist dashed into his vehicle and pulled out two knives which he started using to attack and everyone who came his way.
The knife-wielding motorist was travelling with another man in the front passenger seat and children at the back. The other passenger took a long stick which he used to fight off people who had now gathered at the scene.
The video showed the driver charging at both the matatu driver, the conductor and other passengers with the knives and they retreated and made a run for their lives.

The Motorists Flees the Scene
The duo scared off everyone in the area, and the matatu driver and his conductor were forced to retreat.
A child in the private vehicle alighted and run towards the angry motorist and was quicky carried back into the vehicle.
Moreover, as the crowd began swelling, the two men quickly returned to their vehicle and fled the scene. The matatu driver, and his passengers proceeded to report the incident to the police.
Local authorities have launched an investigation and are actively searching for the motorist and accomplice.
