Ruto Appoints Suspended KEMSA CEO to New Job

Terry was suspended over a bungled procurement process at KEMSA.

President William Ruto has appointed former Kenya Medical Supplies Authority (KEMSA) CEO Terry Ramadhani, whom he suspended in May, to head Kenya’s mission in India.

The appointment came months after Ramadhani was suspended over a bungled procurement process that left the country on the verge of losing a Ksh.3.7 billion worth of anti-Malaria nets from the Global Fund.

Following her appointment, the ex-KEMSA boss will now head to New Delhi, India as the Deputy Commissioner.

Further, President Ruto appointed Peter Munyiri as the High Commissioner to India as part of the newly unveiled ambassadors.

Consequently, Ramadhani will serve alongside Munyiri in her new post in managing diplomatic affairs with the Asian country.
