State House Announces Tenders for Flowers, Carpets & Newspapers

State House has advertised ten tenders and invited bids from interested candidates across the country.

In a notice on Tuesday, July 30, the Executive Office of the President said six of the tenders are open for all Kenyans while four are reserved for Access to Government Procurement Opportunities (AGPO).

“The Executive office of the President (State House) invites sealed tender documents from interested firms for tenders for Financial Year 2024-2026 as indicated below,” read part of the notice.

On the list is the Supply of Seeds, Farm Inputs and Implements, number SH/FA/001/2024-2026 and Supply of Fresh Cut Flowers and Flower Arrangements (SH/FA/002/2024-2026).

State House also announced tender for supply of Newspapers, Periodicals and Journals numbered SH/FA/003/2024-2026 and Provision of Cleaning Services tender number SH/FA/009/2024-2026.

“Tender No.SH/FA/001/2024-2026 for Supply of Seeds, Farm Inputs and Implements, tender No. SH/FA/002/2024-2026, for Supply of Fresh Cut Flowers and Flower Arrangements, tender No. SH/FA/003/2024-2026, for Supply of Newspapers, Periodicals, Journals and SH/FA/009/2024-2026, for Provision of Cleaning Services are reserved for AGPO Preference Groups,” State House noted.

The President’s office also invited bids for the supply of General Hardware and Electrical Items (SH/FA/004/2024-2026) and the Supply of Motor Vehicle accessories, Tyres, Tubes and Batteries (SH/FA/005/2024-2026).

Interested bidders can also apply for tender number SH/FA/006/2024-2026, the supply of Oils and Lubricants and supply of flags and pinnet stands (SH/FA/007/2024-2026).

Besides, State House announced tenders for the Supply and Fitting of Carpets (SH/FA/008/2024-2026) and Provision of Motor Vehicle Towing Services (SH/FA/010/2024-2026).

The last six tenders are open to all Kenyans and have a bid security of Ksh.200,000.

State House Tenders Application Details

A complete set of the Tender documents may be downloaded by the eligible bidders from the State House website www.president.go.ke, or https://supplier.treasury.go.ke and www.tenders.go.ke free of charge.

“Bidders who download the tender documents must forward their company’s particulars to supplychain@president.go.ke for recording and further addendum/clarifications if any,” State House said.

Afterwards, interested bidders should submit original and a copy of the completed tender document with the tender number clearly indicated to the State House Comptroller on or before August 15, 2024.

“Complete Tender Documents, both “Original” and “Copy”, enclosed in plain sealed envelope, marked with the Tender Number should be deposited at the Tender Box located at Gate D and Addressed to: The Comptroller of State House P. O. Box 40530-00100 NAIROBI so as to be received not later than Thursday, 15th August 2024 at 11.00 a.m. East African Time. Late applications will not be accepted,” directed the Comptroller.
