The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has advertised 14, 000 vacancies for teaching posts in primary and post primary institutions.
The teachers who will be recruited will serve on permanent and pensionable terms.
July 7 has been set as the deadline for applications by interested candidates
TSC will deploy 3, 972 teachers to secondary schools, 28 in teacher training colleges while 1, 000 teachers will be posted to primary school teachers.
At the same time, the Commission will fill some 8, 230 slots left by teachers who exited service through attrition
