Activist Boniface Mwangi has announced a fresh march to the Office of the President to demand Justice for GenZs.
In a statement, Mwangi has announced that the march will take place on Tuesday, September 24.
He has explained that President William Ruto is not taking action for individuals who have been abducted or killed following the anti-tax protests.
Therefore, the families of those who are still missing and those killed will be presenting their names at Harambee House.
“I do not have a name of someone who has been abducted or disappeared.”- Ruto on 30th August 2024. This afternoon families of the missing, and the dead are going to Harambee House to present names,’
“We demand Justice for the victims of those the state murdered and abducted. Join us,” stated Mwangi.
Additionally, the activist has invited active citizens and civil society representatives to join the march scheduled for 2:30 PM.
“Families of the victims, active citizens, and civil society representatives will present a list of those who have disappeared to the Office of the President,” noted the announcement.

Ruto’s Statement Highlighted by Boniface Mwangi
President William Ruto maintained that he was not aware of any Kenyan who was abducted by the country’s security agencies during or after the June and July anti-tax protests.
Speaking during a town hall session in Kisumu on Thursday, August 29 evening, Ruto asked citizens whose kin or friends had gone missing under mysterious circumstances during protests, to come forward.
Further, he asked the families to present their names for action. Then, the President tasked Interior Principal Secretary Raymond Omollo to take up the matter and ensure that the cases are followed to the latter.
“If there is a family that their child or friend or relative went to a demonstration, whether it is last year or this year, and never came back, I want to know the names because I will take firm and decisive action,” said Ruto.

Malala’s Son Abducted
In the latest incident, former United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Secretary General Cleophas Malala has revealed that his son was abducted by unknown individuals.
In a statement on Tuesday, September 24, the politician stated that his son was abducted while in the company of his 19-year-old brother-in-law.
“My son and my 19-year-old brother-in-law were abducted at gunpoint. Tortured for 6 hours to disclose my whereabouts or that of my wife and to show them the way to my residence,” stated Malala.
