A primary school teacher in Kirinyaga county has committed suicide inside a coffee plantation
Residents of Gikumbo Village found the body of Antony Comba dangling from a tree inside a coffee farm.
The 45-year-old reportedly committed suicide in the wee hours of the morning.
Kirinyaga East Sup County Police Commander Edward Ndirangu confirmed the incident
According to Comba’s mother, Rose Nyambura, the father of three left his house moments after his wife went to sleep.
The wife left him watching television in the living room as she proceeded to sleep
She latter found him missing and alerted her in-laws.
The family mounted a search that led to the discovery of the body
Another man also took his own life a few months ago on the same farm.
The deceased did not leave behind any suicide note
Police have launched investigations into the incident.
