Sweetwaters Serena Camp is a tented safari camp located within the Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Nanyuki.

It offers guests an immersive wildlife experience in one of Kenya’s premier conservation areas, known for Big Five game viewing and for protecting endangered species, including the last two female northern white rhinos.

The camp features en-suite tents with private verandas, Wi-Fi, and scenic views, providing a comfortable blend of nature and modern convenience. Guests can enjoy locally inspired cuisine, relax with spa treatments, or unwind at the heated swimming pool and pool bar.

Sweetwaters Serena Camp caters to a range of visitors, including couples, families, and corporate groups, offering a classic safari experience in a protected, diverse wildlife environment.

Accommodation

Sweetwaters Serena Camp offers 56 ensuite tents set beneath wide-canopied acacia trees within landscaped grounds, providing a peaceful safari retreat.

Each tent features a thatched roof, solid flooring, and classic canvas interiors that combine rustic safari charm with modern comfort.

The tents are spread across the Main and Morani Wings, with each unit offering a private veranda or elevated balcony overlooking the conservancy.

It has amenities such as hot water bottles in the evening, while mosquito nets, extra beds, and baby cots are available on request, making the camp suitable for couples, families, and small groups.

The camp provides triple tents and additional beds upon request. Cots and babysitting services are also available with prior arrangement, along with a family jacuzzi for added comfort.

Guest Services

Guests enjoy 24-hour room service, laundry and valet services, as well as complimentary mineral water and premium toiletries.

After dining, they can unwind with drinks beside the fireplace in the cozy bar or choose outdoor experiences such as bush dinners and sundowners, arranged through the reception.

For children, the camp provides buffet-style dining with a variety of meal options, as well as baby-friendly food and highchairs.
