Media personality Willis Raburu on Tuesday, August 22, officially announced that he is joining TV47.
The show host announced his debut indicating that he will host a 10pm show dubbed Wabebe Experience.
“Welcome to the new journey… the wait is over! Announcing my partnership with TV47.” He wrote.
Moreover, Willis Raburu is known for his versatile nature in the media space with an ability to connect with different audiences.
He previously worked at Citizen TV, where he did news, political and entertainment interviews, human interest stories and even hosted an entertainment show ’10 over 10’.

He is now expected to carry his versatile and charismatic nature to win new audiences for the Cape Media-owned TV47.

Raburu Quits Citizen TV
Raburu left Royal Media’s Citizen TV in June 2023 after 13 years of service saying he needed to take a break.
“I have made the decision to leave the Royal Media Services and it’s been a tough decision, but they have been so gracious to me from the time I tendered in my resignation,” he said.
He also expressed gratitude for his time on Citizen TV, and for those who supported him in the journey, noting that the media house has been kind to him.
“Well, I’m going to rest, I want to take a breather, take a step back, I want to share the knowledge that I have and also continue with my Masters,” Raburu added.

With his massive experience in the media industry, Raburu proves to be a great fit for TV47 who have over the past weeks hired big names from other media houses.
Some of these big names that recently joined TV47 include Grace Kuria, and Victor Muyakane from BBC, as well as George Maringa, Ahmed Bahaj and Fred Indimuli from KTN News.
