Rihanna has just given her fans the joy of their lives after announcing her comeback in music.
The Diamonds hitmaker will in early next year get back on stage after a couple of months hiatus from music.
The Kenya Times has learnt Rihanna will be the headliner for the 2023 Super Bowl Halftime Show.
Confirming her participation, NFL tweeted about Rihanna’s involvement in the upcoming event.
Through its official Twitter account, NFL shared the lowdown on the songstress’ return to the stage and dropped hints on the songs she will perform.
The Kenya Times understands the NFL halftime show is one of the most desirable slots in music.
With that said, the NFL thought it wise to have Riri as the headliner in a bid to make her return to the stage in an iconic way, befitting her status.
Rihanna echoed NFL’s announcement by sharing a photo of her hand holding a rugby ball on her Twitter account.
At first, many thought Rihanna was announcing her second pregnancy but were taken by surprise when they learnt it was about her music.
Of importance to note is the fact that this will be the first time Rihanna will hit the stage to thrill her fans after months away from music.
Fans had missed Rihanna since she started focusing on her Fenty Beauty and Skin businesses in recent years.
The songstress had also stayed away from music following the birth of her first child; a boy with boyfriend A$AP Rocky in May 2022.
