As Kenya stands at the crossroads of political despair and public disillusionment, one name shines brightly amid the chaos—David Maraga, the country’s former Chief Justice. A man of unwavering integrity, Maraga embodies the kind of leadership Kenya has been yearning for: honest, principled, and people centered.
His record speaks for itself. As former President of Kenya’s apex court, Maraga proved that integrity and courage can thrive in the public service.
He famously nullified a presidential election—an act that demanded not only legal acumen but immense personal bravery.
He is one of the few leaders in Kenya’s history to have passed the ultimate test of integrity, competence, and empathy. These are values sorely missing among the current crop of leaders.
David Maraga has a Clean Record
Unlike many of his counterparts, Maraga has no corruption scandal trailing him.
His name has never been tainted, and his conduct has consistently reflected a deep respect for the rule of law and for the Kenyan people.

He represents a rare breed of leadership in a country drowning in a sea of impunity and greed.
Leadership is not about miracles; it is about commitment, integrity, and a genuine concern for the welfare of the people.
In addition, Maraga’s character, his moral compass, his trustworthy personality, and his informed concern for Kenya’s future prove that he is the most suitable candidate for the presidency.
Some critics argue that he has no political base or that he cannot win. But should we continue to reject capable leaders simply because we think they have “no chance”?
That mindset has trapped Kenya in cycles of poor leadership. In June 2024, we watched Gen Z rise in mass protests—speaking for a generation disillusioned by leaders who have prioritized power and wealth over public service.
Members of Parliament turned their backs on the people and sided with an oppressive regime, betraying the spirit of democracy.
Send Ruto Home
Re-electing President William Ruto or recycling the same political elite is not just a political mistake—it is a threat to our collective existence and future.

What’s more, Kenya cannot afford another five years of corruption, economic mismanagement, and human rights violations.
We must break away from the narrative that only those with political clout deserve a chance.
Maraga may not be a career politician, but perhaps that is exactly what Kenya needs a leader untouched by the rot of political patronage, one who can lead with vision and integrity.
Lastly, David Maraga is the right man for the right job. It is time for Kenyans to rise above fear and cynicism and support a leader who genuinely represents hope, justice, and national healing.
