Public Service Cabinet Secretary (CS) Moses Kuria has accused Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua of setting up fake accounts in his name to launch attacks on President William Ruto and other allies.
Kuria made the statement on his social media accounts, stating that a team under Gachagua’s direction had created fake accounts using his name to attack the President.
He also said that attack was targeting several known allies of President Ruto including Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja, Majority Leader Kimani Ichung’wah, and Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro.
Kuria urged Gachagua to stop this activity, emphasizing that it was causing more harm than good to the Deputy President’s boss.
“Dear Team Rigathi Gachagua. Stop it! You have set up a whole unit to do paddy accounts and fake accounts in my name to fight President Ruto, Governor Sakaja, Hon Ichungwah, Hon Ndindi Nyoro etc,” Kuria stated.

“Please! Sina shida na mtu yenu. You are doing more harm than good to your boss.”

He also disclosed that there were several WhatsApp groups that were allegedly formed early last month, where the Deputy President was a frequent topic of discussion.

“There are several WhatsApp groups that were formed early last month. On a daily basis you were a topic for discussion. When I questioned why we should fight you in the name of protecting the kingpin. I was removed immediately.”
Moses Kuria’s latest remarks are part of a broader long standing political feud between him and Deputy president Rigathi Gachagua.
Moses Kuria Criticizes Gachagua over Limuru III meeting
Recently on May 16 in an interview with Citizen TV, the CS expressed criticism of Gachagua’s attempts to interfere in Mt Kenya politics, particularly in relation to the Limuru III meeting.
The meeting was organized by various Mt. Kenya stakeholders in a bid to address the socio-political issues affecting the region.
Gachagua had expressed concern over not being consulted about the meeting, asserting his position as the senior-most politician in the region.

He urged the Limuru III conveners, Martha Karua and Jubilee Secretary General Jeremiah Kioni, to address their grievances through him instead of organizing the conference.
Moses Kuria, however, during the interview expressed his criticism regarding the deputy president’s comments.
“I don’t agree with him because we were elected by the people to solve their issues. if Martha Karua or Jeremiah Kioni calls me to his house today, I will go out of respect. They don’t have to come to me.”
“The solutions of this country have no forwarding address. This country has so many problems and we need all of us. You can’t tell me to come and see you when I have a problem. Who are you? I don’t agree with that,” he said.
