Interview Guidelines
The circular also outlines the composition and roles of interview panels. Each panel will have a Chairperson, a Commission Secretary Representative, and a Director’s Representative.
The Chairperson is responsible for overseeing the interview, assigning questioning areas, monitoring the process, and ensuring confidentiality.
The Commission Secretary Representative serves as the panel’s secretary, validating documents, asking guided questions, recording scores, and compiling the final report.
The Director’s Representative provides support in conducting interviews and assists with question administration.
To ensure transparency and accuracy, daily validated results from sub-county, county, and regional interviews will be submitted electronically to the Director of Staffing.
Hard copies will also be compiled at the end of the interview period. All officials involved must exercise the highest levels of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism throughout the process.
The circular further references the Promotional Guidelines for Teachers, Circular No. 8/2025, dated August 11, 2025, which provides detailed instructions on scoring, interview tools, and grade-specific guidelines.
Deployment letters for successful candidates will be issued through the Board of Management and relevant school heads, even for teachers who previously held administrative positions but were later reassigned.
