George Njoroge is a Kenyan Information and Technology (IT) expert and the Chief Executive Officer (C.E.O.) of East African Data Handlers, a Computer Forensics and Data Handling company.
He was hired by the Azimio Coalition to manage vote tallying for Raila Odinga during the 2022 general election.
Education Background
George Njoroge attended Stanford University Graduate School of Business, where he completed the Seed Transformation Program East Africa in 2019.
In 2017, he earned a master’s degree in Global Business and Sustainability with a focus on Social Entrepreneurship and Managerial Economics from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Italy.
Additionally, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), which he completed in 2006.

George Njoroge Career Background
Njoroge is the CEO of Alternative Pulse PLC (Go-Pesa), a premier mobile merchant payment platform based in Wetlands, Nairobi.
Since 2016, he has led the company in transforming digital payments, currently supporting over 10,000 merchants across Kenya.
He is also the Managing Director and CEO of East African Data Handlers Ltd, a provider of disaster recovery and business continuity solutions in Africa.
Since founding the company in 2007, Njoroge has developed patented, technology-driven services that help organizations recover, analyze, and manage data securely and efficiently.
Earlier in his career, Njoroge served as ICT Director for AITEC Africa from 2005 to 2006, where he managed the organization’s IT infrastructure and spearheaded development initiatives across the continent.
Before that, he was the IT Manager for Kenya and Uganda at Computer Source Point/Sahara Computers from 2004 to 2005, overseeing regional IT operations and support services.
He also worked with Microsoft in 2004 as an implementation consultant, where he was involved in deploying Microsoft solutions for corporate and institutional clients across Kenya.

Achievements
In November 2016, he was honoured as ICT CEO of the Year by the Information Communication Technology Association of Kenya (ICTAK) for outstanding contributions inspiring excellence in the ICT industry for the second time.
He also received the ICT Lifetime Achievement Award from both the Computer Society of Kenya and ICTAK, recognizing his invaluable services to the development of the local ICT sector.
Additionally, he was named ICT CEO of the Year in 2015 by ICTAK for his exceptional leadership and impact within the industry.
