Mikoba is a lovely song from a young Tanzanian artist named Y Prince.
The hit song was released in 2021 and has been trending on different streaming and social media platforms.
Well, thanks to its viral nature, many netizens jumped on it while joining others in the now popular #MikobaChallenge.
Everything was cool for everyone who tried the challenge until recently when a Mombasa family, led by social media commentator, Chimamih The Great joined.
Just like everyone attempting the challenge, Chimamih rounded up her son and her two siblings in a bid to record themselves while attempting the challenge.
The family members used ash and charcoal to draw some patterns on their faces, as they mimicked people on the official Mikoba music video.
Their dress code also echoed that in the music video.
Ready for the challenge, the camera rolled and the family started dancing alongside the song, with the youngest in the group holding a lit candle.
No sooner had 30 seconds lapsed than the candle went off.
All this while, Chimamih and the rest did not realise what had happened.
In a shocking turn of events, the candle lit itself again and kept lighting despite the serious wind experienced.
Something funny, no one noticed the satanic occurrence until Chimamih uploaded the video on TikTok.
It was then that even Chimamih herself noticed the strange happenings.
Scared, the mother of one was forced to pull down the video and seek help from a local pastor.
Chimamih spoke exclusively to The Kenya Times and disclosed the whole family was shaken following the strange happening.
According to Chimamih, a pastor was called to pray and cast away any satanic spirits lingering around their home.

“We are scared. I can’t believe what I saw. We have called a pastor, he is here and we are about to start prayers. I did not know this song is satanic,” Chimamih told The Kenya Times.
This publication understands Chimamih is not the first person to experience weird things while attempting the challenge.
Several people on TikTok have in countless times said they believe Mikoba is satanic and that indeed black magic exist after attempting the same.
The Kenya Times watched Chimamih’s video and confirmed indeed some strange things happened.
