Her quest for the finer things in life led her to Nigerian national, who took advantage of her naivety and with the promise of giving her the world and more, he lured her into the risky business of drug trafficking. What appeared to Pesh as a Holiday in Ghana was in fact a scheme of moving drugs from Ghana to Seychelles.
On her date of travel, the socialite took to social media to inform her fans of her adventure. Unbeknownst to her, that would be the last post on her Facebook page for the next seven years.
“Thanks to God dreams coming tru…. another holiday for her majesty. #Ghana!“
In what resembles a script from the movies, one Lydia Wairimu, who claims to have studied with Pesh recollects the events that led to Pesh’s arrest.
“Wuuuii I do feel pain for Pesh. She was my campo student mate at MKU back in 2014 she was doing a degree in project management. Peers pushed her to bad company. She had the figure naturally. So akaanza socialiting. Her first trip was Dubai. Kwa zile harakati she met a Naija who showed her good life here and money. Little did she know the Nigerian is a drug dealer” reads part of her statement.
Her assignment in Ghana was to ferry drugs to Seychelles, although she was not aware. Her luggage was packed with drugs and her conniving boyfriend tricked her out of travelling together because he allegedly had “business” to take care of and would follow her later. He hired a taxi to take her to the airport and gave her the contacts of his “brother” whom she was to call once she landed in Seychelles.
Pesh was seized during the strict security checks at the airport. Attempts to reach her boyfriend proved futile and she was subjected to the Ghanaian justice system and was found guilty of drug trafficking and subsequently sentenced to 10 years in prison.
She announced her return by updating her facebook profile picture and a TitTok video, dancing.
