Kenyan musician, entrepreneur, and philanthropist Akothee tied the knot with her fiancé, Omosh, in a lavish wedding on Monday, April 10.
The invite-only ceremony, held at the Windsor, was attended by a number of celebrities who flocked to witness the extravagant event.
Following the wedding, Rue Baby, Akothee’s second-born daughter, took to her Instagram stories to share a behind-the-scenes look at the big day. Rue Baby showed the bridal team getting ready for the ceremony, including moments of applying makeup and getting dressed. She also glimpsed her final look, exclaiming that she felt like a princess.

Despite the success of the wedding, Rue Baby did have one issue to address: the guests who violated an unwritten rule of wedding etiquette. She called out guests who posted pictures of themselves and tagged the bride in their captions without including any pictures of the bride or groom. While Rue Baby did not seem upset by the violation, she expressed annoyance in her Instagram stories.
Rue Baby also shared more behind-the-scenes images of the bridal team moments before they entered the tent where guests were waiting. However, she noticed that many of the celebrities in attendance did not post pictures with Akothee and Omosh. Instead, they preferred to take pictures of themselves with their outfits and tag their designers.
The wedding was a grand affair, with Akothee trying to impress to make it memorable. Despite the minor issue with guests violating an unwritten wedding rule, Rue Baby’s Instagram stories gave fans a glimpse into the excitement and luxury of the day.
